POWER OUTAGE
Representatives with Alabama Power Company have notified town officials that an island-wide power outage is planned for Thursday, February 15, 2018 (Alternate date February 16, 2018). Repairs and installation associated with transmission lines/substation will require a six hour service interruption from 7am-1pm that day. Residents and business owners are encouraged to make appropriate plans in advance of the scheduled outage to reduce and/or eliminate any inconveniences. The town will notify you in the event the aforementioned day/time of outage should change for any reason.
